WHY
MAINE COON !!?
ABOUT US AND HOW WE LIVE
All my life I loved cats and often bring them home until I grew up but once I heard about Maine coon cats from my mum storys and when I saw them first time these magnificent cats and were completely fascinated...you guessed it, they were called Maine Coons. I started researching about Maine Coon history, learning about their personality, characteristics, bloodlines, genetic disorders, grooming, showing, I was absolutely inlove and crazy from this cats .I started talking with Maine Coon breeders all over the world. It was very important to me! It wasn't very long until my first two Maine coon cats appeared I were absolutely in love with them. I felt very special to be Maine Coon owners. they make me happy every I just cant belive i do have them and day One day I had a very serious think about starting a cattery. My husband support me and he support my idea, he start help me a lot. METATRONEYES MAINE COONS IS A HOBBY; NOT A BUSINESS! WE think you have a right to know what we do for a living. Unfortunately, there are far too many breeders who live exclusively from their cattery’s income, or believe they can somehow get rich from a cattery - which inherently means that they cannot practice breeding in a fully ethical way, nor can they justify spending money for all of the required health examinations, high quality food, and the list goes on. Not to mention the high output and terrible living conditions they ask of their breeding stock. Long story short, "business catteries" cut corners in ways that are so unethical it would make your skin crawl.

Maine Coons are known as the "gentle giants"and possess above-average intelligence, making them relatively easy to train. They are known for being loyal to their family and cautious—but not mean—around strangers, but are independent and not clingy. The Maine Coon is generally not known for being a "lap cat" but their gentle disposition makes the breed relaxed around dogs, other cats, and children. They are playful throughout their lives, with males tending to be more clownish and females generally possessing more dignity, yet both are equally affectionate. Many Maine Coons have a fascination with water. Maine Coons are also well known for being very vocal cats. They are known for their frequent yowling, chattering, chirping, "talking" (especially "talking back" to their owners), and making other loud vocalizations.

HABITS AND FEATURES
WATHER
Unlike most cats, representatives of this breed are happy to take all bath procedures. They are interested in water, they like to bathe in a bath or open ponds, sometimes rinse pieces of food in a bowl with water before you eat it. It is also interesting how they drink - first dip their paw in the water, lick it and only then begin to drink. According to felinologists, such an attitude to water is associated with the natural habitat of these cats and the need of their ancestors with their paws to clean water from streams from leaves and debris.

VOICE
Maine Coons like to talk to people they are very gentle. They purr and the sounds emitted at the same time are unique and resemble chirping birds.

Using paws while eating
The likelihood that the representatives of this breed will eat, nagging his nose in a bowl, almost zero. As a rule, they eat with their paws, picking up pieces of food from the bowl with a claw.
Parental instinct
There is no need to separate cats and cats after the birth of kittens. Maine Coon males lack aggression towards offspring. Moreover, they strive to take care of the babies, participate in their upbringing, transfer their knowledge and skills and teach the basic feline habits
